Iconic U.S. denim brand Wrangler has linked with artist Peter Max to celebrate the 50th anniversary of 1967’s “Summer of Love,” as well as Wrangler’s own 70th anniversary.
This won’t be the first time Wrangler and Max have worked together. Together they created a capsule of items in the early ’70s that remains valued in the vintage market.
Made entirely in Europe, the upcoming collection includes a groovy assortment of men’s and women’s denim pants and jackets plus sweatshirts and t-shirts featuring reproduction of Max’s “Flower Runner” and “Smile” graphic, and will include packaging inspired by the ’70s collection.
Wrangler’s Peter Max items will hit retail in May and August and be available at wrangler.com.
