Just in time for summer 2017, shoe designer Loza Maléombho steps up with another eye-popping pair of sandals. Marked by gold-plated African masks, both silhouettes are marked by jaunty stripes with the the Abla shoe (above) offering a high heel with ankle straps and the Pokou (below) with a low heel.
Founded in New York and based in Côte d’Ivoire since 2012, Maléombho manufactures locally and is known for her gift for imbuing modern designs with traditional touches. You may recall her striking gladiator Zebra sandal, which broke necks all throughout 2014.
Priced at $225 for the Abla and $275 for the Pokou, both silhouettes are now available for pre-order at shop-lozamaleombho.com.
