Nike has announced plans for a three sneaker Shine pack, made up of silhouettes sized exclusively for women. First up is an Air More Uptempo sneaker, offered for the first time in women’s sizing. The preview color featured here shows the shoe’s trademark, over-sized air letters in an iridescent shade, which plays against an army green upper. The other two color versions of the shoe are white and black.
Much like like a Doberman or Mastiff, this shoe is a LOT and is not recommended for sneaker newbies or lightweights.
This shoe was made in the mid-’90s for Chicago Bulls player Scottie Pippie and this particular launch includes his Olympic number eight embroidered on the heel in gold. And while this shoe has been offered in grade school sizing, this is the first time Nike is offering the shoe in women’s sizing.
In addition to the Air More Uptempo, Nike and Foot Locker will also release a woman’s Foamposite and Air Force 1 Upstep PRM LX.
This shoe will drop at Foot Locker sometime during holiday, which translates to either November or December 2017.
