A$AP Bari-led label VLONE made its runway debut this week, showing a men’s and women’s collection for pre-fall 2017 at the Pavillion Cambon in Paris. Titled “Black History,” offerings were marked by coordinated twill jackets and bottoms, with added flourish added through a combination of bondage straps, cargo pockets, side lacing and sport stripe detailing.
The runway also included new Nike and VLONE Air Force 1 sneakers, a collaborative partnership that made its debut at Complexcon in November 2016. Originally offered in black with an orange swoosh, the models shown on the VLONE runway show the same black upper shoe, updated with a royal blue, red, green, yellow and purple logo. In addition to the Air Force 1 sneakers, the presentation marked the first-time appearance of a VLONE and Nike Vandal Hi sneakers, shown with a royal blue, black and red Swoosh against a black shoe.
A$AP Bari received plenty of support from his friends in the fashion and music industry with attendees including A$AP Rocky, Virgil Abloh and Jerry Lorenzo.
