Mixed in with the Paris Haute Couture shows, Italian label Miu Miu showed its decidedly more down to earth resort 2018 collection at the Paris Automobile club (Miuccia Prada loves a car story!). The all-star cast walking the show including Kendall Jenner, Joan Smalls, Jourdan Dunn and Slick Woods with attendees including Elle Fanning, Milla Jovavich Doutzen Kroes and Chiara Ferragni, among others.
The show was opened by Canadian rapper Tommy Genesis, who looked adorable in a baby blue knit romper from the collection. Genesis performed gamely despite a fair number of (rude!) audience members who didn’t attempt to hide their disinterest in her performance.
Speaking to the show’s car-themed location, looks were themed on all manner of coveralls and other prettified interpretations of workwear. There were also references to checkered racing flags on shoes and bags, along with houndstooth wool coats.
