Very much on the rise as par of the chunky sneaker trend, you can expect to see more of Fila‘s Disruptor II shoe in the coming months. The women’s pastel and metallic shades shown here were previewed at Agenda Show in Las Vegas last week and will be rolling out over the next few months at better boutiques and retailers.
While the shoe is very much on the comeback trail and has been featured in Barneys’ and Urban Outfitter’s windows, the Disruptor made its debut in 1992 and has been produced ever year since.
Now based in Korea, when the Italy-based Fila company first produced the Disruptor it was classified under the company’s “Strada” aka street division because of its crossover lifestyle appeal.
While a wide array of retailers carry the Disruptor, the colorways shown here will see more limited distribution and will be priced at $70 and up.
