Kith has provided officially imagery and dates for its upcoming collaboration with Coca-Cola. The collection consists of men’s and women’s hoodies, t-shirts, shorts and swim trunks and slides, plus special items including limited edition soda bottles, beach towels, pool floats, ice cube trays and more. The collection also includes a collaboration with Converse on a 1970 white hi-top Chuck Taylor.
“It evokes nostalgia and a sense of comfort,” said Fieg in an interview with Forbes. “People cannot help but feel a familiar emotion when they see the Coca-Cola branding. I wanted to tell more of a summertime story. As New Yorkers, when we think of summer we think of the Hamptons so the collection is really inspired by that setting and lifestyle.”
Kith initially teased the collaboration with images of Nas wearing a piece from the collection.
Offerings will launch the first week of August with an exclusive friends-and-family weekend. “Everyone will be outfitted in the product and get to experience it in the setting it was designed for,” said Fieg.
