It’s been a banner couple of years for influential makeup artist Pat McGrath, who was the recipient of a CFDA Founders Award in June 2017 and was recently appointed British Vogue‘s beauty editor at large. After consulting and working with many of the top beauty brands, she launched her own Pat McGrath Labs line in 2015 and has steadily rolled out one coveted item after the next, all of which have evaporated upon arrival.
Now comes news that McGrath will roll out a permanent line of Pat McGrath Labs makeup that will be available year round. Two years in the making, according to WWD, the “24/7” line will be made up of five products and 61 restockable units in the eye and lip categories. There will be nine MatteTrance and 31 LuxeTrance lipsticks ($38), plus five shades of PermaGel Ultra Glide eye pencils and 12 shades of PermaGel Ultra lip pencils ($25), Dark Star mascara ($28) and Mothership eye palettes ($125).
The line will be introduced on patmcgrath.com, starting with 40 shades of lipstick in two finishes, which will drop on on September 16,2017. Drop two will consist of lip liner offered in 11 shades, eyeliner in five shades, plus a mascara and an eyeshadow palette offered in three colorways, which will launch on September 28th.
There will also be an undisclosed, secret sale for her subscribers sometime in August 2017, while the full range will be sold exclusively through Sephora, starting October 6th.
