California-based Vans has reached across the ocean for a collaboration with Paris-based designer Karl Lagerfeld on a collection of apparel and footwear that will launch globally on September 7, 2017.
There are no product images yet, but according to WWD, there will be a total of six silhouettes that will include leather versions of Sk8-Hi laceless platform, Old Skool laceless platform and Classic Slip-On.
The shoes will be branded with Lagerfeld’s profile and a quilted “K.”
Themed on black and white, offerings also include a t-shirt showing Lagerfeld sporting a checkerboard tie, a raglan sleeve bomber, and a leather backpack.
Pricing ranges from $40-$300.
The collection will make its official debut at the Bread & Butter trade show in Berlin in September. It will be sold at Karl Lagerfeld boutiques globally and select Vans stores and retailers.
