Prior to airing of BET Hip Hop Awards last night (October 10, 2017), BET served up a “femcee” cypher, providing a showcase for some of the game’s hottest female rappers.
The cypher was kicked off by RCA-signee Leikeli47, who passed the mic to North Carolina’s Rapsody. Detroit’s Kash Doll was next up with Atlanta’s Tokyo Jetz closing out the war of words.
Backed on the ones and twos by DJ Premier, the foursome spit rhymes on top of the instrumental for Diddy’s latest single, “Whatcha Gon’ Do,” featuring Rick Ross and Biggie Smalls.
