Off-White designer Virgil Abloh and Japanese artist Takashi Murakami have revealed a collaborative t-shirt, which will be sold at ComplexCon, an event that takes place on November 4-5, 2017.
What makes the t-shirt extra special is that the shirts were handmade personally by Abloh and Takashi though that also means the numbers are very limited. The two-star graphic is taken from Murakami’s “Signboard” works, a series created between 1992-2007.
Both Abloh and Murakami are ComplexCon committee members.
It’s not clear when or where at ComplexCon the t-shirts will be sold. At last year’s inaugural ComplexCon, one of the most popular booths was a co-branded Murakami and Complex merchandise booth. Lines to enter the booth were very long and many items sold out before the first day was over so if you have your eye on this item, be prepared to arrive early and jump on the line as soon as you arrive.
