Update: The rumors are true aaaaand Rih is rapping! Titled “Lemon,” the release of the single was accompanied by a visual featuring the amazing dance moves of Mette Towley, who is a member of Pharrell’s “Bae” dance crew. Towley’s moves were choreographed by JaQuel Knight.

Rihanna fans are putting the clues together and many have concluded the Pharrell song Beats 1 is debuting tomorrow (November 1, 2017) will feature none other than Ms. Fenty. Clue No. 1 comes from Beats, which tweeted a pixilated image showing two people. One of them no doubt is Pharrell who is tagged on the post and in his own tweet promoted the same timing to tune into the channel. There is a second, shorter person, but it’s impossible to make out who it is.
Rihanna rumors come via a now-deleted tweet from Dubai-based user @ophiona who claims she heard Rihanna rapping on a new N.E.R.D. single. As well, a Rihanna fan account, @teamofrihanna, posted an image of Rihanna (above) on Twitter that was said to be taken on the set of a N.E.R.D music video.
A second Rihanna fan account, @rihdiscussion, is also claiming that Rihanna recently shot a video for a N.E.R.D. music project.
One problem is that the Beats images shows two pixilated people and if it’s a N.E.R.D. project with Rihanna, it should show Pharrell plus Chad Hugo. Unless of course there’s a Pharrell song AND a N.E.R.D. song.
We’ll find out soon enough. The song makes its debut at 12:00 PM EST on beats.com in less than 24 hours.
