Colette has published the drop details on its highly-anticipated exclusive Adidas Originals Pharrell Williams Hu trail shoe made in collaboration with storied French luxury label Chanel.
Limited to a very small run of 500 pairs and priced at $1,200, interested buyers can register on Colette’s chanelatcolette.fr site on November 21, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM Paris time (GMT +1) to pre-register for the shoe. Registration will be followed by a random drawing executed by a court bailiff. Only one entry per person is allowed.
Colette will send a confirmation email to all selected winners on November 23, 2017 with instructions for purchasing and collecting the sneakers from Colette within an allotted time frame.
The fact that Chanel rarely collaborates combined with the very limited, in-store nature of the drop has driven advanced resell pricing for the Pharrell Hu x Channel sky high with shoes on resell site stockx.com currently posting pre-drop sales ranging from $4,200 up to as high as $10,110.
Pharrell’s Hu shoes are no stranger to healthy resell prices. The shoe he made in collaboration with N.E.R.D. sold exclusively at ComplexCon has sold for as much as $6,490.
The legendary nature of the shoe also receives a boost because it will be among the final items sold exclusively at Colette, which closes its doors forever on December 20th.
