Twins Kelly and Mark Shami have announced the launch of Shami Official, an accessory label inspired by by their dual interest in art, style and music as well their collective experience growing up around the Diamond District family business. Offerings are made up of a cool assortment of chunky rings, small pendant necklaces (the bodega rose is a favorite) an earrings with customizable options.
Shami Official marks a return to the category for Kelly, who launched a namesake jewelry label in 2013. In addition to the line’s inclusion in Snobette-designed and produced Smurfette and NFL runway shows, Kelly has worked as an illustrator and accessory designer in collaboration with Parkwood Entertainment, Adidas, Six:02, Nike and Ray-Ban to name a few. Meanwhile, Mark currently oversees The M Jewelers line.
