On the backend of her “CTRL” tour (she’s been off for the month of November), r&b soul singer SZA aka Solána Imani Rowe brings it back home with a spare version of “Go Gina,” a single paying tribute to “Martin” sitcom character Gina Waters Payne who was played by Tisha Campbell.
In the new visual, SZA sings barefoot in a white, over-sized blouse accompanied only by an electronic bass. The video is part of Vevo’s LIFT effort, an artist development program featuring similarly unique performances by artists as well as concert footage and behind-the-scenes portrayals.
Next up in the queue is a visual for “The Weekend,” which will directed by Solange Knowles.
