Cardi B stopped in on “The Tonight Show” last night (December 20, 2017), where she provided host Jimmy Fallon with additional details on how she got her name, explaining it came about because Instagram kept deleting her various Bacardi handles.
Fallon lauded the 25-year-old for her many achievements in 2017, including her Grammy nominations as well as her three-times platinum “Bodak Yellow” single and landing three top ten singles simultaneously on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, a first time achievement for a female rapper.
With styling handled by Kollin Carter, the Bronx rapper wore a green satin and fur top by Russian-American designer Rubin Singer, slacks by Milly and shoes by Christian Louboutin. Her cute, up-do bouffant was handled by Hair by Fran.
The rapper also confirmed she has a new single dropping on Friday December 22nd, titled “Bartier Bardi” featuring 21 Savage. In the single art, Cardi wore a Creepyyeha lavendar bra, belt and panties, which were paired with Christian Louboutin cream-colored satin heels.
