Marques Almeida shows an eclectic mix of looks for resort 2018 with the label showing its usual panache for adding flair to classic items including aviator and leather moto jackets.
Launched in 2011, Marques Almeida as led by Marta Marques and Paulo Almeida gained acclaim for its ground-breaking denim looks and won the LVMH Prize in 2015. Originally from Portugal, the couple is now based in London.
In an interview (which includes their eight-month old daughter) with the designers, they walked through their process for the new collection, new material stories (feathers!) and the idea of resort being a transitional season.
