Berlin-based publication 032c made its runway debut yesterday at famed menswear event Pitti Immagine Uomo in Florence and Milan. As designed by Maria Koch, the presentation took place in the gorgeously ornate Palazzo Medici Riccardo in Florence and was introduced with a performance by a (fully clothed) pole dancer.
The collection of about a dozen looks was designed by Maria Koch, who founded 032c in 2001 with Joerg Koch. Started as a fashion publication, 032c has become known for the clothing and accessories it sells on its store, which often sell out.
The presentation included footwear by Birkenstock, which has been showing up in the high fashion world with greater frequency as of late. Earlier this week, the brand announced a collaborative effort with Rick Owens.
