Colombian-born singer Kali Uchis has released a very dope visual for “After The Storm,” a video featuring Bootsy Collins and Tyler the Creator. The dreamy soul single was produced by BADBADNOTGOOD and will be included on her debut album, set to release in spring of 2018 through Interscope Records/Virgin EMI Record.
Directed by Nadia Lee Cohen, the visual is equal parts colorful, quirky and surreal and includes animated versions of Tyler and Collins, who kicks off the video singing as a character on the front of a box of cereal. In the end, Uchis and Tyler enjoy a backyard barbecue together with their two children, both of whom have inherited their father’s Chia-green hair.
Currently, Kali on tour in support of Lana Del Ray. She’s also scheduled to perform at Coachella in April, an event headlined by Beyonce, The Weeknd and Eminem.
