Roc Nation signee Justine Skye has released her 10-song debut album Ultraviolet, a follow up to her 2016 EP “8 Ounces.” The r&b album includes previously-released singles “U Don’t Know” featuring WizKid and “Back For More” featuring Jeremih.
Skye made it a point to convey her Brooklyn roots in the music. “A lot of people don’t know that I’m from Brooklyn, so [that’s] something I wanted people to get the vibe of through the music and the style of it. Don’t ever get it twisted, I’m from the East Coast,” Skye told Footwear News.
Skye celebrated the album drop with a party at Tao in New York attended by friends A$AP Rocky and Hailey Baldwin.
