Nicolas Formichetti‘s Nicopanda celebrated rebellious youth culture youth with a fall 2018 runway presented during London Fashion Week that paid tribute to Nirvana and Lil’ Kim with looks mashing up ’90s era grunge and hip hop looks.
Offerings included t-shirts made in collaboration with New York-based Tommy Boy Records, a label founded in 1981 whose artists boasted Afrika Bambaataa, Stetsasonic, Naughty By Nature and RuPaul, among others.
Models made big accessory statements with gold chains, beanies, Planet i glitter sunglasses, over-sized earrings and chunky Hoka One One trail sneakers.
It’s a collection that has fun written all over it and we’re here for it.
