Rihanna today (February 2, 2018) was in attendance the Global Partnership for Education conference in Dakar, Senegal, where she closed out the event with a short but sweet speech.
Her attendance reflected her ongoing efforts to raise money to improve educational access for boys and girls globally, a goal of her non-profit Clara Lionel Foundation.
She began her remarks by thanking French president, Emmanuel Macron, who’s been a big supporter of her efforts, and Senegalese president, Macky Sall. “We’ve made tremendous progress today but our work is never done. We are not going to stop until every boy and every girl has access to education,” she stated.
Rihanna work a over-sized, grey plaid suit, which we think is via Matthew Adams Dolan’s spring 2018 collection. According to @hausofrihanna the suit is custom Ralph Lauren based on a fall 2017 design.
