Adidas Originals and Yeezy are preparing to release a black Powerphase sneaker, the third colorway for the silhouette, which has already been released in white and grey.
The classic looking model will be offered with a black leather upper detailed with gold Calabasas branding that sits alongside the shoe’s three stripe branding. There’s also green Adidas and red Trefoil branding that sits parallel to the lacing system.
We can say for certain the shoe will be sold at yeezysupply.com and adidas.com, but it’s not known yet what additional retailers will receive pairs. We have heard that Kanye West has dictated that Yeezy Supply receive the vast majority of allocation, leaving very few pairs for top-tier accounts. You can find a list of the U.S. stores that received the grey PowerPhase here.
Adidas will open its Confirmed app to reserve a pair on March 14th. If you haven’t already, you can download it here. Keep an eye on @adidasalerts to know when the app goes live. Just be aware that the app only works for a limited list of cities globally and you must be located within designated geographies to reserve a shoe.
For the resellers, keep in mind the first two drops were priced at $120 and both colors are selling at a premium with the white commanding a higher price than the grey.
