Forever playful, Gucci designer Alessandro Michele shouts out Japanese game console SEGA with a capsule collection of jackets, t-shirts, crewnecks, handbags, small leather goods, caps and scarves featuring the Gucci logo reimagined with the SEGA font.
The Guccy version of the logo first made its appearance as part of the label’s resort 2018 presentation. The “y” is Michele’s attempt to anglicize the label though at the same time it’s a reflection of his ongoing attraction with viewing the storied label through an array of lenses.
Priced from $450 for shower slides to $3,500 for a Dionysus bag, the collection is now available at gucci.com as well as Saks 5th Avenue and Bergdorf Goodman.
