Chicago-based designer Joe Freshgoods has created a capsule celebrating McDonald’s and Sprite’s “That’s the Mix” campaign, highlighting Sprite’s new McDonald’s exclusive Tropic Berry soda.
Tapping into a colorful motorsport-inspired design theme, offerings include a varsity jacket, long and short sleeve t-shirts plus socks. Commenting on the endeavor on Instagram, Freshgoods wrote, “I’ve always had a love for racing garments and the usage of logos, wanted to give people that feel with this.”
Items will be sold at McDonald’s locations in Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles and New York (locations below) on May 25, 2018, starting at 2:00 PM local time. The one requirement is purchase of a Sprite Tropic Berry soda. (There’s a work around, but it’s onerous–we say, just buy the soda!)
