Brooklyn-based artist KAWS aka Brian Donnelly officially unveiled two giant sculptures, a BFF and Companion, sitting aside each other on the top of the Changsha IFS building in Hunan, China. The work represents his first permanent installation in China.
The entire project took a total of 301 days of planning and construction and was in collaboration with Hong Kong-based AllRightsReserved, a Hong Kong-based creative studio that specializes in over-sized art projects.
