New York designer Marc Jacobs and Anna Sui have joined forced on a collection of t-shirts, shoes, bags and accessories. British artist Will Broome was tapped to design the collections cheery graphics, which include a caricature of Jacobs and Sui dubbed “Miss and Mister Jacobs.”
“It’s a fun project that celebrates our dear friendship,” Jacobs said.
“Marc and I have been good friends for a very long time. I can’t believe it has taken us this long to collaborate. It was so much fun working on a project together,” Sui said.
Reflecting both labels’ popularity in Japan, the collection made its debut on May 2, 2018, in Isetan, a Tokyo-based department story.
The collection features imagery by illustrator Will Broome — the artist behind the Miss and Mister Jacobs caricatures. Designs will be priced from $65 for a bag charm to $395 for a patchwork camera-shape bag. Ts and sweatshirts range from $95 to $250, while slip-on and high-top sneakers are priced at $225.
Prices range from $65 for bag charms and $265 for slip-on sneakers up to $295 for an embroidered sweatshirt. The collection is available at select Sui stores globally along with annasuit.com and marcjacobs.com.
