DMV-based rapper Rico Nasty goes off in the Kenny Beats-produced “Rage” a visual directed by Robert Henry and Nate PTGOD. The song is a new one that Nasty debuted at her recent Rolling Loud performance in Miami.
Just like the song title implies, Nasty is in a mood, a state of emotional affairs highlighted by low-fi special effects including flames, crows and lightening bolts.
Dressed in black and whipping around a head full of curls, Nasty very much blends the new with the old, creating a grunge-infused trap sound/flow that is very much her own.
“Rage” will be included on Nasty’s upcoming mix tape, which as of now doesn’t have a drop date.
