Dallas-born Asian Doll makes her first official drops a visual for “Crunch Time,” her first project released under the auspices of Gucci Mane’s 1017 Eskimo Records where she is the label’s first female signee.
Directed by ShotByLegend and Third.Earth, the video is a collection of Asian’s live appearances that reveal her charisma and power to command a stage.
In a recent interview with XXL, Asian announced plans for a joint album with Gucci Mane. She also has plans to open some shows for Nicki Minaj and Future’s upcoming tour.
Recently, Kash Doll has been firing shots at Asian, who in turn says she wants no parts because she’s too busy recording. While the two may not be besties, Asian in the interview rattled off a list of artists she’s either friendly with or admires, including Princess Nokia, Maliibu Miitch, YBN Nahmir, DreamDoll, Dreezy, Tee Grizzley, Kehlani, Erykah Badu and Bhad Barbie, who she recently toured with.
And while she’s beefed with her old friend Cuban Doll in the past, in the same interview Asian said the feud is over. “She been through a lot, too, and you can never take nobody’s blessing away, so however she getting her money, however she living I’m happy for her. Because at the end of the day we came from nothing. We both used to be hungry together, eating chocolate,” said Asian.
