Australian-born rapper Iggy Azalea is back and she’s turning heads with a video for “Kream” a visual featuring Tyga that’s an ode to the money-minded worlds of strippers. The song includes a sample from Wu Tang Clan’s iconic “C.R.E.A.M” single, thus the title of the song.
At the same time she dropped the video for “Kream,” Azalea also dropped the single for “Tokyo Snow Trip.”
Reception for her new music on social media has been surprisingly positive when one considers how intensely she was dragged (often rightly so because of her own lack of self-awareness) throughout 2015 and 2016.
Then again, her pop star trajectory is in many ways typical: dizzying heights of popularity, gathering storm winds for a take down, complete fall from grace followed by a return to popularity albeit at much lower levels of popularity than the first go round.
“Kream” and “Tokyo Snow Trip” will be included on Azalea’s upcoming six-track EP, titled “Survive The Summer,” dropping August 3, 2018
