August 5, 2018 update: Slick Woods has confirmed to Elle magazine that her baby’s father is Adonis Bosso. The two are dating, but live on separate coasts with Bosso in Los Angeles and Woods in Brooklyn. She also confirmed the baby is a boy whose name will be Saphir, the name of a September birthstone, the month he’s due to be born. Furthermore, she plans to breastfeed and singer Erykah Badu will be her douala during childbirth.

Model Slick Woods makes a bold and beautiful statement on pregnancy for Elle magazine’s September 2018 issue. The 21-year-old Woods aka Simone Thompson was photographed by Paola Kudacki and styled by Anne Christensen.
According to Elle contributor Kenya Hunt, who profiled her for the issue, Woods addresses impending motherhood, race as well as sexual identity. The tagline for the cover reads: “Rihanna’s muse Slick Woods talks Fenty, sexuality and babies.”
Woods announced her pregnancy on Instagram in early July and there are rumors that model Adonis Bosso is the father (read about that here). However, Woods hasn’t made an official statement about who the father is.
