Brooklyn rapper 6ix9ine aka Tekashi69 aka Daniel Hernandez landed his first top 10 Billboard Hot 100 single with “FEFE,” which will make its debut in the No. 4 slot for the August 4, 2018 chart. The song is a first top 10 hit as well for Murda Beatz, the song’s producer.
The single’s ascent was aided by Nicki Minaj, who can add the single to 16 top ten hits on the chart. With a total of 17, Minaj holds the most top tens for a female rapper with Missy Elliott claiming second place with a total of nine top 10 singles.
Tekashi, who has been touring in Florida, celebrated the event with an impromptu moonwalk rain dance to Usher’s “Yeah!” single.
