New York-based Mansur Gavriel has long been associated with and loved for its minimalist silhouette and color approach. In fact, if brands were astrological signs, Mansur Gavriel would sit exactly opposite from Alessandro Michele of Gucci’s everything-is-everything approach.
And yet, some trends like the repeat logo too big to ignore. To Mansur Gavriel’s credit, its first-time interpretation of the trend is in keeping with the label’s light touch approach. Making use of a script font, the repeat motif whispers rather than screams out the label’s logo.
Even still, feedback from Purse Blog commenters was almost entirely negative. And yet, the debut signature logo silhouette, priced at $545, is now sold out. However, it’s still available at 24 Sèvres in Paris for $595. There is also a wristlet featuring a single script logo priced at $245.
For certain, you can expect restocks.
