Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson’s relationship is kaput. TMZ is reporting the two broke up either sometime today (October 14, 2018) or yesterday. According to the publication, both Grande and Davidson came to the realization that the relationship just wasn’t working. They still have love for each other, but things are over romantically.
Neither Grande nor Davidson have commented on the news so it’s unknown if just the engagement is off or if they are done done.
Grande and Davidson began dating in late May 2018 and let it be know they were engaged in mid-June. Grande’s album Sweetener includes a song titled, “Pete Davidson.”
Grande recently took some time off, which included skipping the Emmy Awards on September 17th. In part, she was dealing with the death of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller, who died from a drug overdose on September 7th.
Arianators were for the most part thrilled by the news. Overall, Davidson has been seen by her fans as insensitive and incapable of providing her the support she needs during what’s been a tumultuous period in her life.
