On the day of her birth (October 25, 2018), Ciara dropped a visual for a new single titled “Dose,” another dance bop meant to highlight the singer’s well-known dance skills.
Shot with a crew of dancers and a marching band in a darkened gym, the video is a shout out to the city of Atlanta where Ciara was born and raised. The visual features an appearance by nine-year-old dancer Jaylah Johnson, along with Atlanta Mayor, Keisha Lance Bottoms.
The release of the visual was preceded by a pep rally, held outdoors in Edgewood, Atlanta.
Ciara and her dancers wear a Florence Griffith-esque one legged tracksuit, a custom look styled by Shannon Sense. The tracksuit was paired with Nike Vapormax Light II Anthracite sneakers.
“Dose” is the third single Ciara has dropped this year. She also released “Level Up” and “Freak Me” featuring Nigerian artist Tekno Miles.
