Off-White this week has queued up a camera strap that makes use of the trademark industrial nylon web material the brand has used to make belts and bag straps.
The concept of an Off-White camera strap is such a rudimentary extension of the web strap concept that it’s already been knocked off and is available to purchase on multiple Asian-based online stores.
Even before the Asian copycats, Philly-based designer Osman Cueto way back in January 2017 purchased Off-White belts and created a capsule of Off-White camera straps that he sold for $259 on his site (now sold out).
So while Off-White may be late to its own party (even Virgil has his limits!), if realness matters to you, real real Off-White straps in black, pink and yellow and priced at $210 are now available for pre-order on off—white.com.
