November 27, 2018 update: Takaski 6ix9ine’s album, DUMMY BOY, is now live on all streaming platforms including Spotify.
November 27, 2018 update: Tekashi 6ix9ine’s album, DUMMY BOY, is dropping today on all streaming outlets, according to Tekashi friend DJ Akademiks. TMZ confirmed the news and noted that the album will be distributed through Create Music Group, Tekashi’s music publisher. In the past, he’s distributed his music through Caroline and Capitol Music Group, but he shut them down after the project leaked online.
It makes sense the album will be dropped sooner than later simply because interest in the project is at an all time high and it looks as though Tekashi won’t be getting out of jail any time soon.
Tekashi 6ix9ine album “DUMMY BOY” will be officially released in a few hours to all major outlets. This is the decision of Tekashi himself who despite being disappointed about its leak & his current situation wants his fans to enjoy his music. He says he loves and misses his fans

Tekashi 6ix9ine’s DUMMY BOY album was planned for a November 23, 2018 launch, a plan upended by his arrest for an eight-count indictment on November 18th. Shortly thereafter, an announcement was posted on his Instagram feed that read: “Due to circumstances beyond our control we have postponed the release of Tekashi 6ix9ine’s “DUMMY BOY” until further notice.
The album was briefly available to purchase for $6.99 on 6ix9ineshop.com (which doesn’t appear to be officially associated with the rapper) on November 24th, and while it was quickly taken down it subsequently began appearing on streaming sites and is now widely available. (There are Dropbox links and you can also check a DUMMY BOY reddit thread.)
The 13-song project opens with the hard-hitting “STOOPID” featuring Bobby Shmurda (whose bars were recorded in prison) and also includes contributions from Lil Baby, Tory Lanez, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Anuel AA, Gunna, DJ Spinking and TrifeDrew.
Following the leak, Azealia Banks uploaded and deleted a demo of “FEEFA” featuring her bars. She claimed she was originally on the song but believes she was removed as requested by Minaj with whom she has a testy relationship. In the caption, she wrote, “High key flamed both kanye and tekashi on this. I recorded this a few weeks ago. Since it’s leaked may as well throw my bid in. This is a rough demo.”
Throughout the album, Tekashi and featured guests toy with shouting out the Brooklyn rapper’s once signature phrase “Treyway,” reflecting the terms of his four years of probation laid down in October 2018 by a New York judge who forbid him from using the term in lyrics or on social media.
The album art was designed by Alex Solis, who took inspiration from a widely-reproduced bootleg Calvin illustration showing the character peeing as he looks over his shoulder with an evil grin on his face.
