X-Girl have announced plans for a three-item capsule made in partnership with portrait photographer Shaniqwa Jarvis. With graphics provided by Jarvis, items include a “Too Many Rich People in NY” t-shirt ($50), “Mini Me” crewneck sweatshirt ($95) and “Less, Less, Less” tote bag ($50). The offerings will be sold at the Jarvis co-founded Social Studies New York event, a three-day pop-up educational and merch function at Milk Studio.
Jarvis has shot for Gap, Supreme, Riposte among others and is curating a Social Studies workshop on Saturday (November 17, 2018) called “Photography Now.” She will present a slideshow and lead a discussion around work by photographers Breeze, Chandler Kennedy, Joshua Woods, June Canedo, Lula Hyers, Rafael Rios, Renell Medrano, Sue Kwon and Quil Lemons.
