December 18, 2018 update: @dropsbyjay has confirmed the Steiff bear will drop on Dcember 20, 2018. The price is $178. Images of the bear have surfaced showing it does indeed have a yellow tag.

Just in time for Christmas, Supreme is dropping one of the brand’s most coveted items for fall: a Steiff Elmar bear who’s appeal is upped thanks to the fact it comes with a grey box logo hoodie.
Supreme hasn’t supplied details on the size or price of the bear, but on the Steiff site, the Elmar bear is offered in two sizes: 12.5 or 16 inches that are priced at $65 and $89 respectively.
There is some debate on reddit.com about the yellow tag featured in the bear shown on Supreme’s site. Typically that denotes a bear that will see wide distribution. Some are opining that the actual bear will have a white tag with red writing, meaning production is limited. There’s also been some tough talk about taking the hoodie and tossing the bear in the garbage, but we’re neither here for that nor buying it!

The collaborative plush toy will be make its debut on Thursday, December 20, 2018 in Brooklyn, Las Angeles, London, Manhattan and Paris stores at 11:00 AM EST. The store opens at 11:00 AM EST for U.S. shoppers and 11:00 AM GMT for Europe. Supreme’s Japanese stores will get there chance to snag the bear two days later on December 22nd.
