Through footage revealed during their OTR II concert stops over summer 2018, it’s been established that Beyoncé and Jay-Z renewed her wedding vows. However, details on timing and location have been sparse. In an end-of-year montage uploaded to her Instagram account, the 37-year old revealed a lot more clues with additional images of herself and Jay participating in a vow renewal ceremony, which took place outside.
Following the montage, bridal label Galia Lahav published the first official photo of Beyoncé wearing her vow renewal dress. According to TMZ, the white, “Thelma” gown was purchased for $10,300 in April 2018 at Lahav’s store in Los Angeles. According to the caption, the ceremony took place in June 2018.
Prior to the vow renewal and Beyoncé’s legendary Coachella performance, the couple celebrated on the actual date of their anniversary (April 4th) with a rooftop party at the NoMad Hotel in Los Angeles.
For the ceremony Beyoncé a dramatic sweeping veil and for the photograph wore a set of tiny, white-frame sunglasses. Jay-Z coordinated with his wife of ten years with a white tuxedo, sneakers and a pair of shades.
As to exactly when and where the ceremony took place, that remains a mystery.
