Louis Vuitton‘s men’s division reveals its first ad campaign directed by designer Virgil Abloh. The campaign highlight’s the spring 2019 collection and was launched to coincide with the United States celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
The campaign includes three sets of images, each shot by different photographers. A series of images examining “infancy, childhood and adolescence” were shot by industry veterans Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, and include shots of a three-year-old named three-year-old named Alieyth along with seven-year-old actor Leo James Davis and 16-year-old Luke Prael.
Abloh also tapped multimedia Algerian artist Mohamed Bourouissa and Dutch photographer Raimond Wouda.
