Rihanna was spotted last night in London, where she rang in the New Year with her beau, Hassan Jameel, along with close friends and family. The couple sat at a cozy back table at Annabel‘s, a posh and private club located in the Mayfair section of London. On Instagram stories, Rihanna documented the midnight celebration with a close up of her and we presume Jammel’s hands tossing a handful of colorful confetti. Rihanna’s bestie Melissa Forde and her brother, Rorrey Fenty, were also in attendance at the same fête.
Paparazzi captured her making a solo exit for which she wore dark Alexandre Vauthier x Alain Mikli shades, a Calvin Klein clutch and a cream-colored fur coat casually draped over her festive dress. Flashing lights reveal her body was dusted with what was likely Fenty Beauty Diamond Bomb “All Over Body Veil.”
While Rihanna and Jameel began dating in the fall of 2016, it was following their New Year’s Eve date in London on the eve of 2017 that the couple’s commitment to each other headed in a more serious direction. As such the day marks both the celebration of a new year plus a happy turning point in their relationship.
