Selena Gomez has returned to Instagram after taking a break from the platform that began in September 2018. Following a post wishing her followers a happy new year, she uploaded an image of herself in a denim outfit paired with Puma‘s Cali, an update on the brand’s ’80s-era California sneaker that made its debut at retail in fall 2018.
On the post, Gomez wrote, “Lots to look forward to in 2019. I can’t wait to share the projects I’ve been working on with you. The first one is here: Cali 👟 BY @pumasportstyle.”
Gomez has been a Puma ambassador since September 2017.
On her final post in before she dipped back in September, Gomez wrote, “Taking a social media break. Again. As much as I am grateful for the voice that social media gives each of us, I am equally grateful to be able to step back and live my life present to the moment I have been given. Kindness and encouragement only for a bit! Just remember- negative comments can hurt anybody’s feelings. Obvi.”
