Los Angeles-based and New York-born Buscemi as led by Jon Buscemi has expanded offerings to include apparel, expanding on the men’s and women’s luxe sneaker and footwear offerings that launched the brand in 2013.
The 17 looks were debuted in mid-January during Milan Fashion Week for men with a presentation that included both male and female models. Items reference Buscemi’s New York roots through coats and denim items printed with graphics of New York maps. He also references his love for hip hop with a capsule of hoodies detailed with Nervous Records logo.
All told, the stylish collection succeeds in reflecting the reality that women who appreciate streetwear often dip into the menswear market to acquire certain key pieces.
