Reebok and New York-based Pyer Moss as led by designer Kerby Jean-Raymond queue up a black version of the ’90s-rooted Daytona Experiment silhouette (style code: RDE-PYMBK). Simply dubbed “Shades of Black,” the black suede sneaker features gold-trimmed laces and sits on a glossy midsole. The shoe is detailed with combined Reebook and Pyer Moss branding on the heel.
Previously Reebok and Pyer Moss have offered the ’90s-era Daytona Experiment silhouette in “Fierce Gold,” “Multi Suede” and “Chalk.”
Reebok and Pyer Moss’ efforts together have been widely viewed as a match made in heaven with their DMX Fusion 1 silhouette awarded collaborative silhouette of the year by Footwear News.
Priced at $200 and offered in men’s sizes 4-13, the Daytona Experiment in “Shades of Black” will be released February 2, 2019 at 10:00 AM EST on pyermoss.com. If the shoe is sold out by the time you read this, have a look on stockx.com.
