Kehlani, with her partner, Javie Young White at her side, delivered her first born, a daughter named Adeya. The baby was delivered over the weekend (March 25th or 26th–either way she’s an Airies) in Kehlani’s home with the assistance of a midwife.
Commenting on the momentous occasion on Twitter, the 23-year-old stated, “this weekend our angel arrived earthside perfectly healthy & full of wonder. unmedicated homebirth was indescribable. taking time to be family and heal. thank you everyone who sent us love and support on her journey earthside!”
She later added, “she smells like frosted flakes 🥺😍”
Young White was also overjoyed. On the baby’s birth, he wrote, “Adeya is home. Kehlani gave birth at home standing up, unmedicated, into my arms as we spoke her 1st words to her. The most beautiful moment of my life These two are my reason & resolve. We are enjoying each other & our health, resting & surrendering to love. My heart is full.”
