Rapper Cardi B continues to extend her brand with news she’s planning to launch a beauty line. In an ET interview conducted at her latest Fashion Nova launch party, the 26-year-old said she would launch a line “very soon.”
While she announced the news at a Fashion Nova event, she didn’t provide any details on who she would be partnering with on the launch.
Cardi’s beauty for the Fashion Nova event was handled by her makeup artist Erika la Pearl, who noted she used Stellar Beauty for the first time for the event. La Pearl wrote, “I tried out @stellarbeautyofficial and I love it.” The brand was launched in 2017 by Indian Canadian Monika Deol who launched the brand to address medium skin tones, which would make it a good fit for Cardi. That said, it’s a relatively small company and Cardi requires a big check.
At the Fashion Nova launch party, Cardi thrilled attendees when she brought out Lil Nas X to perform his chart topper, “Old Town Road.”
