Paris-based luxury label Dior as lead by designer Kim Jones turned heads with a strikingly clean runway on Friday (June 21, 2019) shown as part of Paris Fashion Week for Men.
The show’s spare aesthetic was amplified through a set designed by Jones and New York-based creative Daniel Arsham. In a post on Instagram, Arsham explained, “I created a Crystal calcified recreation of Christian Dior’s original Paris office from the 1950’s. Guests entering the venue for the @dior show yesterday walked through this experience before seating.”
The broke down modern theme was extended to accessories, which also included a contribution from Arsham who worked in collaboration with Dior jewelry designer Yoon Ahn.
