While in New York for “Summer Jam,” Megan Thee Stallion took some time the day before (June 1, 2019) her performance to chat on Instagram Live where she discussed her thoughts on experimenting with diets that involve less animal cruelty.
During the video, Meg noshed on a vegan meal, and while she enjoyed it, she said she probably would experiment with becoming a vegetarian first rather than jumping into veganism. Describing the meal, she said, “The shit looked really crazy…and, the shit good! The presentation through me off. I was like, ‘What the fuck this shit gonna taste like.”
She also added that giving up chicken wings would be hard, especially the ones served by Club Onyx, a strip club in Houston.
Meg said she was inspired to try alternatives because of research she had done that turned up horrendous treatment factory-farmed animals including chicks and dairy cows.
Prior to the Instagram Live session, Megan tweeted some tips to be a more “eco-friendly hottie” that included eating less meat and dairy, using reusable bags, recycling and using a refillable water bottle and lunch container.
In another Instagram Live video, she said she thinking about organizing a beach clean up with the Hotties. “I don’t know how shit you have to go through to get permission to do that,” she said in the video.
