Milan-based Fendi showed in Rome yesterday (against the backdrop of the Coliseum no less!) with a haute couture presentation that honored Karl Lagerfeld‘s contributions but also signaled a break from the past.
One of the highlights of the ’80s-infused show was the hair, which brought back the bowl/mushroom cut. Once again, it was a break from the stick straight blown-out hair and an embrace of a look exuding high maintenance or at the least plenty of time to devote to styling.
Conceptualized and produced by celebrity stylist Sam McKnight, each model wore a unique color inspired by shades of marble and individually dyed to coordinate with each outfit.
